|On the Eve of Valentine's Day, the English will be drooling over Slovenian chocolate. In the evening primetime, a new show of the Wonderful World of Chocolate series will be aired on Channel 5, this time taking place entirely in the Aunt Frida chocolate manufactory and in her luxurious glamping resort Chocolate village by the river.
The show, which was recorded over a year ago on Limbuško nabrežje in Maribor, is produced by one of the largest media houses in the world. Uroš Mlakar, founder of Aunt Frida: “We are a proud sweet ambassador of Maribor and Slovenia with our authentic story. We experienced the first season of glamping in the unfortunate corona year, but thanks to tourist vouchers we still broke the records of cashed tourist vouchers in Maribor area last year. I am glad that people accepted us with enthusiasm and especially we are proud to spread the words of the beauties of our country, which is becoming a destination for top culinary experiences, all over the world. "
Along the way, the film crew followed the story of two English women, who decided to spend a few days in the most chocolatey village in the world, the Aunt Frida Chocolate Village. During their vacation in Chocolate village by the river, the ladies experinced a chocolate adventure in all areas. They started with a chocolate surprise on arrival and continued with breakfast for real chocoholics. Chocolate cosmetics were waiting for them in the bathroom, and chocolate beer and chocolate gin in the fridge, on which they were especially excited about.
A special experience was a visit to the Aunt Frida chocolate manufactory, during which they were able to participate in the production of the increasingly popular gourmet chocolate bars Fridika. They also attended a chocolate workshop, where they enthusiastically made their own chocolate creation and tasted many Aunt Frida's chocolate creations accompanied by live opera singing. They ended the day with a chocolate jacuzzi and chocolate massage, and then they indulged in a private chef culinary specialties in the cottage, who prepared dinner for them with amazing chocolate-salty combinations. Would you also try cod with white chocolate, ripe steak with port sauce and dark chocolate, or parsnip puree with white chocolate?
The story of an exceptional chocolate experience in luxury glamping Chocolate village by the river is becoming a world-renowned attraction, as it has already been reported by other major world media such as The Independent, The Sun, Daily Mirror, Tastemade Travel, Lonely planet and Forbes. Aunt Frida is also known for top-quality gourmet chocolate products, which can be purchased at more than 200 points of sale across the country and for the largest chain of chocolate coffee shops in Slovenia.
